[ she would never admit it, not in a million years. she is cool fun flirty party girl roxy lalonde, that's it. if right now she's feeling a little more like a girl who grew up without human contact and is nervous about stepping out into a busy world full of people, she's not going to show it. she doesn't really mean to stall, but at the same time, she can't quite help herself. so she comes out of Shinji's room to show off her outfit under the pretense that she's going to take what he says into account at all ]

Okay, Shinji-boy, what makes me look more like a super-serious transfer student? Sweater, or jacket?

[ she's made a credible try at pulling together a uniform to go with her story of being a potential transfer student, and is wearing a grey pleated skirt and white button-down, along with a red tie she may or may not have appearified from Dad Crocker's closet. In one hand, a grey jacket; in the other, a black sweater vest that she may or may not have appearified from Jane Crocker's closet. ]

[the principal calls out through the door, 'come in!' shinji almost stumbles over his feet while entering in his hurry, but manages to stay upright. aw, yeah. nice save. he bows, all too aware of its jerky nature.] Ah, please excuse us. I'm Shinji Ikari and this is Roxy Lalonde. We're here--

['yes, the tour, welcome, welcome!'

what follows must be the longest 'hope you like your time here' speech ever. oh, jeez.]

[ roxy's eyes glazed over about a minute in, and once they're ushered back out into the hallway, she lets out the biggest sign ever uttered by a human mouth
